Composer J.S. Bach signed many of his works with the inscription SDG, "Soli Deo Gloria" , roughly translated as "To the only God's glory" (Romans 16:27 and Jude 25). The scientist Johannes Kepler described science as "thinking God's thoughts after Him." My art is based on both of these concepts, mimicking the beauty that God has created in an effort to show the wonders of Him and His creation. I strive to find the exact, perfect moment of a scene or subject, trapping it in time, to bring joy and a sense of awe to the viewer.
